Fantastic, a sound seeing tour of roasting! A friend of mine bought a home roaster and told me a little about it. But I’m wondering what your rig actually looks like. Sounds like I could roast my own pretty inexpensively if I found a poppery somewhere. Thanks for the info and live demo of what goes on while roasting.

Podcast: The First Home Roast of the Spring

From First Crack comes a podcast of Garrick’s first home roast of the Spring. Listen to the first crack of the coffee beans and then the sounds they make as they start to cool. You can almost smell it….
